This is a four-piece series project I created in 2023. The idea behind it is the sea level rising and the coastal erosion that has been happening in some places along this string of narrow islands of beautiful beaches in North Carolina. Some towns in Outer Banks have been losing considerable chunks of land for more than a decade now and the sea is moving towards the houses, making them collapse. Between 2011 and 2015 the sea level rose by 12 centimeters in some beaches.
